Exercise 7: In pairs, translate the situation into Hebrew row by row. Together, try
to think of a solution. Then present the situation and the solution in front of your
classmates.

1 Ilana Tells:
My younger son, Uri, started [to study in] fourth

2 grade this year.
From (ever since) first grade until this year he

3 studied the whole time with [at] the same teacher.
4 He really loved her and loved going to school.

When he came in on the first day of school in
fourth grade, a different teacher entered the class,
5 and ever since the first day he can't get used to the
new teacher.

He comes back home in a bad mood, and doesn't
6 want to get up from bed in the morning.

I am very surprised from [by] his reaction, because
7 he continues to study with the same kids in the

same school, only the teacher is new.
8 I don't know how to react to his behavior.
9 Should (I) go to speak with the teacher?
10 Should (I) consult with a psychologist?
