The World Cup in Russia
This is the first time Russia is hosting the World Cup. With no politics,
Syria or Chechnya, just sports. Fans from all over the world come to
Moscow in order to watch the games. It’s important to the Russians to
show America, Britain and the whole world that they’re like everyone, and
even more. The World Cup costs the Russians fifteen billion dollars, a lot
of money, but less than the Winter Olympics in Sochi. The World Cup is a
month when Russia is one big party.
