A Nobel Prize for Bob Dylan
The announcement by the Swedish Academy on Thursday surprises a lot
of people: (they) give the Nobel Prize in Literature to Bob Dylan this year.
Not everyone thinks that the American musician really deserves to receive
the most important prize in the world of literature. Bob Dylan is born as
Robert Allen Zimmerman to a Jewish family in Minnesota, and becomes
famous in the sixties with the song ‘Blowing in the Wind’, which becomes
the anthem for the Civil Rights Movement in America. At the Swedish
Academy (they) say that Dylan, who even at the age of seventy five writes
music, is one of the greatest living poets today.
