Eilat for the Rich
Families who love camping, or just people who want to have a vacation
that’s a bit different, usually go to the most southern beach of Eilat, the
beach close to Sinai. But this week, a moment before Pesach, Eilat’s
mayor says that (you) can’t sleep on the beach, and (someone) who (they)
catch sleeping on the beach has to pay seven hundred and thirty NIS.
Mobile homes replace camping this year, which cost like a room in a hotel.
Travelers are angry and say that Eilat is a city just for the rich.
