Annie - Plot Summary
11-year-old Annie is an orphan living in an orphanage in New
York in 1933. Annie is a cute redhead girl who is always trying
to be optimistic. Annie's parents left her at the orphanage when
she was a baby. Annie believes that one day her parents will come
back to get her from the orphanage.
The director of the orphanage is evil Miss Hannigan, whom all
the girls fear. Miss Hannigan hates children and forces the
orphans to work hard.
One day Miss Grace, the secretary of the billionaire Oliver
Warbucks, arrives at the orphanage. Mr. Warbucks wants to host
an orphan child at his mansion for a week. Miss Grace takes
Annie to Mr. Warbucks' mansion. At first, Mr. Warbucks is not
so nice, but then he begins to like Annie and decides to adopt her.
Annie really wants to find her real parents and Mr. Warbucks tries
to help her. He offers a lot of money to whoever knows where
Annie's parents are.
Miss Hannigan, her brother and his girlfriend want to get Mr.
Warbucks' money. They dress up, come to Mr. Warbucks'
mansion, and say they are Annie's parents. What will happen in
the end? Will Miss Hannigan and her brother succeed in taking
Annie back to the orphanage? And what will happen to Mr.
Warbucks and Miss Grace? Let's see…
