Baby Boom in China?

In the seventies in communist China (they) decided on a one child policy,
in order to stop the population growth. (Those) who broke the law got
severe punishments. The policy was successful, but caused new problems:
about thirty percent of China’s population are over the age of fifty,
millions of Chinese men don’t have anyone to marry, and in a few years
there won’t be enough young people who would work and help the
Chinese economy. Last month China made a historic decision - to cancel
the one child policy, and allow parents to have a second child as well.
