A group of tourists arrived in Jerusalem ‫קבוצת תיירים הגיעה לירושלים בחודש‬
last month. .‫שעבר‬
They waited at the airport (for) two
hours before they could go into Israel. ‫הם חיכו בשדה התעופה שעתיים לפני‬
While they were waiting, they called .‫שהם יכלו להיכנס לישראל‬
their friends in Israel.
One tourist (f) even called the airport ‫ הם צילצלו לחברים‬,‫בזמן שהם חיכו‬
manager - .‫שלהם בישראל‬
she was hoping that he would be able to
help them, ‫תיירת אחת אפילו צילצלה למנהל שדה‬
and this way they will wait less time. It – ‫התעופה‬
didn't help.
The tourists tried to encourage one ,‫היא קיוותה שהוא יוכל לעזור להם‬
another:
"Now we're waiting, .‫ זה לא עזר‬.‫וככה הם יחכו פחות זמן‬
but as of tomorrow we won't wait for
anything - :‫התיירים ניסו לעודד זה את זה‬
it's well known that in Israel people
don't need to wait." ,‫"עכשיו אנחנו מחכים‬
John said to his friend: "What are you – ‫אבל ממחר כבר לא נחכה לכלום‬
talking about?! My wife was in Israel
two years ago, and she told me that in ‫זה ידוע שבישראל אנשים לא צריכים‬
Israel people wait all the time! ."‫לחכות‬
She waited in line at the bank, waited in
line at the post (office), waited in line at ‫ "על מה אתה‬:‫ג'ון אמר לחבר שלו‬
the supermarket. ‫מדבר?! אשתי הייתה בישראל לפני‬
‫ והיא סיפרה לי שבישראל‬,‫שנתיים‬

!‫אנשים מחכים כל הזמן‬
‫ חיכתה בתור‬,‫היא חיכתה בתור בבנק‬

.‫ חיכתה בתור בסופר‬,‫בדואר‬
