:‫ שרה‬You know, I was always in Israel (either) in the summer or in the winter.
I was never in here in the fall or [in the] spring. How are the fall and [the] spring here?

:‫ציפורה‬ [The] spring is very short, but also very pretty: Flowers bloom in all kind of colors, the
weather is pleasant and people go touring. I think [that the] people are happier in
:‫שרה‬ spring, and only the people who are allergic to pollen [blooming] are sad.
:‫ציפורה‬ And [the] fall?

:‫שרה‬ The fall in Israel is a time of beginnings: The children begin to study at [the] school,
:‫שרה‬ and the Hebrew year begins on Rosh Hashanah.
:‫שרה‬ And what’s the weather (like)?
:‫ציפורה‬
:‫שרה‬ (One) day is cold and (one) day is hot.

And how is it possible to know if there will be a hot or cold day?

It’s very easy: When I wear a jacket in the morning – I know it’s hot all day,
and when I wear a short-sleeve shirt – (it’s) really cold.
