Now that you've learned new things, it's time to create something original!

Choose one of the following assignments or follow your teacher’s instructions.

Remember! The goal of this exercise is to use what you've learned in a creative
way. Don't use words you had to look up, only use what you've learned.

1. Think of a different ending for the story.

2. Write your new ending to the story in your notebook. The new ending

should be at least 10 sentences long, and each sentence should include

at least one new word from this chapter.

3. Once you have written your new ending, read it over and make any

necessary changes or corrections.

4. Finally, record yourself reading it aloud and hand in the work to your

teacher.

1. First, think about the time you want to write about.

2. Use the words and phrases you learned in class to write your diary
paragraph.

3. Practice reading your diary paragraph aloud to yourself to ensure that

you are pronouncing the words correctly and that the sentences flow

well.

5. Finally, hand in your work to your teacher.
