Women’s Day
Yael Cohen Faran is now a Knesset Member. There are already thirty two
women Knesset Members now. This is a new record. Women’s
organizations say that it’s important and good that there are women in key
roles but it isn’t enough. They say that (we) need more women in all roles,
especially in important ones. Women Knesset Members want their
workday to suit mothers and ask to shorten it. But there are more important
things that women should fight (for), like violence and (getting) wages like
men (do).
