The Opposition’s Filibuster
The opposition in Israel wakes up because it wants to stop a bill by the
coalition. This bill says that the police can’t say that (they) have to indict a
Prime Minister before his term ends. Members of the opposition stand for
more than fifty hours and talk at the Knesset, and not just about politics.
Eventually the bill passes with a majority of fifty nine Knesset Members.
