The Flea Market

In the nineteenth century many people come to the market,
because it’s a center for shopping and culture. Up until [the year
of] two thousand, there is no light at the market at night and
nobody walks in the street.
Today there’s light at night and there are restaurants and bars
and sometimes even concerts.
Every Thursday in summer there’s “Pishpeshuk” and a big
mess: (there’s a) market both [lit. also] at day and [also] at night,
with lots of music. There are many old things at the market:
clothes, furniture and beautiful carpets. Before, there were only
stores for old things at the market. Today there are also stores
for new things.
