Dialogue 7 – At Einav's House
Einav: Hello, hello, well, is everything okay? Was your son really at the
Levines’ house?
Dor: Hello, Einav, yes, thank you. Everything is okay. Do you live here on
HaRakevet Street?
Einav: Yes, I live here with my husband and the children.
Dor: I am a new immigrant and I am looking for an apartment on HaRakevet
Street.
Einav: Do you want to see our apartment?
Dor: Yes, may I?
Einav: Yes, please.
Dor: What a charming room, there are a lot of windows and a lot of light.
Is it warm in this room?
Einav: No, there is sun here only in the morning.
Dor: What is there?
Einav: Over there there’s a bedroom.
Dor: One bedroom? How many bedrooms are there in your apartment?
Einav: We have three bedrooms. One master bedroom (lit. parents’ room)
and two children’s bedrooms and one bathroom.
Dor: Do you have a dining room?
Einav: No. We have a dining area in the kitchen.
Dor: The kitchen is small and cute. Is there enough room for the whole
family?
Einav: There is enough room. I sit next to my husband Hanan and there
children sit there. Do, do you want a cup of tea and cheesecake?
Dor: Cheesecake! Sure, I love cheesecakes.
Einav: How many children do you have?
Dor: We have two children: Michael is 9 years old and Raz is 5 years old,
and how many children do you have?
Einav: We also have two children: Ofer is 10 and Chen is 6.
Dor: So maybe you can come visit on Saturday? We live in Baqaa.
Einav: Sure, with pleasure.
