Dialogue 9 – In the Elevator

Chana: Excuse me, where are the elevators?
Adam: Here, it’s here on the right.
Chana: Thank you. I’m Chana, pleased to meet you. Do you work in

this building?
Adam: I’m Adam, pleased to meet you. Yes, I’ve been working (lit. I

work) in this building for three years. I work in high tec.
Chana: Really! And do you like your job?
Adam: Yes, very much. And you? Do you work here or are you just

vising?
Chana: I work here from today. I have a new office here in the

building. I’m a doctor and I have a new clinic.
Adam: Great! Congratulations!
Chana: Thank you. What floor is your office on?
Adam: On the twelfth floor, and yours?
Chana: On the thirteenth floor. Great, we’re very close. You can

come visit sometimes.
Adam: Thank you.
Chana: Oh, here’s the elevator. Let’s go.
Adam: Yes, come.
