Family WhatsApp

So what’s your family group on WhatsApp called? No matter what you
call yourselves, there’s no doubt family WhatsApp groups have
become a new way of communication in recent years. The Venger
family, like many other families, adopted WhatsApp as an ultimate way
of communication. A WhatsApp group of the nuclear family has
already become the focus of sociological and psychological studies,
being the common, not to mention main, way of communication these
days, in a world of career parents and busy children. “It allows us to be
in communication in times when we’re not together.” Aside from
nuclear families, there’s no doubt that extended families’ WhatsApp
groups have brought parts of the family closer, so you can find
yourselves arguing with the aunt you used to only see on the night of
the Seder. And of course, as with every entrance of technology into our
lives, the warning regarding WhatsApp is in dosages. There’s no doubt
WhatsApp has become a family arena as well, an intimate one where
(you) can share memories, argue, set plans, but nothing replaces eye
contact and actual displays of affection.
