Good Neighbors
In the middle of the night, when no one sees, (they) open the gate in
Israel’s northern border, and twenty mothers with children who need to see
a doctor come in. The kids are Syrian children who live in villages up to
ten kilometers close to the border with Israel, villages the rebels control.
It’s hard for them to get to a doctor in Syria, so they come here with the
help of organization Good Neighbors. Israel brings food, generators and
anything that can help them live a normal life, into Syria. Israel feels that it
has to help its neighbors, but also believes that families and friends of
those who came to Israel will only think good things about us from now
on.
