Retired Start-Up Man

In a field where the average age is twenty to thirty, Zavdi Lichtman

decided that even from his elevated age, he too is capable of creating a
start-up company and even making his own exit. So a moment after he

retired, Zavdi started Travel Trix Pro, which developed a software that

enables monitoring price drops in hotels, even after you’ve already booked
the room, and all automatically. He was able to bring his son-in-law

Nimrod Sadot, a Phd student in Stanford along, and the two were joined by
three more employees who lowered the company’s age average and

worked out of this small room in Be’er Sheva. The company’s idea was

apparently so good, that only a year and a half passed until Zavdi got the
phone call that, at the end of the day, everyone expects. The buyer, Get

Service from California, which specializes in helping passengers get

compensation from airlines for flights that were cancelled, delayed and a
variety of other flight problems. Zavdi’s company will become Service’s

development center in Israel, and the oldest start-up man in Israel’s dream

officially becomes a fairytale story. Now, from the height of the age of
seventy two, Zavdi can think about the next company, maybe even another

exit.
