The Holiday of Love
In Israel (we) celebrate the holiday of love on the fifteen of Av. In honor
of this day, here are a few numbers you may not know: in two thousand
fifteen fifty three thousand five hundred and seventy nine couples get
married in Israel. Another nine thousand three hundred couples choose not
to get married in Israel. Men marry at the age of twenty seven and a half,
and women marry a little younger, at the age of twenty five and two
months. The number of single men and women in Israel is rising in recent
years.
