Exercise 7: In pairs, translate the situation into Hebrew row by row. Together, try
to think of a solution. Then present the situation and the solution in front of your
classmates.
1 Rina tells:

2 I have two daughters, one is ten and her little
sister is eight and a half.

3 The younger sister tries to imitate her older
sister in everything.

The older (one) is really a pretty and

4 successful girl, a good student and very

popular in class.

5 She is also talented in ballet and sports.

Every time the older one asks for a certain

6 (piece of) clothing, her sister immediately

wants the same clothing in the same color.

(It’s) the same thing with shoes, and even
7 with socks.

Sometimes it seems to me as if the little one

8 sits and writes every new thing that her sister
gets, and immediately asks for the same

thing.

9 Lately, the older one started dancing ballet in
the community center.

10 Her sister also immediately announced that
she wants to dance.

11 The ballet teacher conducted (made) tests.

She thought that the older one is talented in

12 dancing and that the younger one - not so

much.

13 She suggested the younger one to participate
in a gymnastics class instead.

14 This day turned into a real tragedy in our
house.

The little one didn't stop crying and said that

15 the ballet teacher hates her, that everyone

loves her sister and no one loves her.

16 We don't know how to deal with this
problem.
