Dialogue 9 – Dani and Rina Talk about Israelis and Americans

Dani:Rina, what do Israelis eat in the morning?
Rina:Israelis eat salad with an omelet and cheese.
Dani:And what do the Americans eat?
Rina:Americans eat Cornflakes and drink orange juice.
Dani:And what do you eat?
Rina: Me? I eat Cornflakes and drink orange juice. I’m from

America… and what do you eat?
Dani: Me? I don’t eat in the morning, but if I don’t drink strong

black coffee with a teaspoon of sugar, I’m not a human
being.
Rina: Dani, Dani… It’s not healthy to not eat in the morning.
Dani: I know. What can I do? [lit. what to do?] I’m used to that
from the army.
