What to Wear to Work?
The parliamentary assistants at the Knesset are angry that (people) tell
them how to dress, so they decide to all show up in short skirts. It all
started when (they) wouldn’t let the parliamentary assistant Shaked
Hasson to go into the Knesset because she wore a skirt that was too short.
Since then, (they’ve) asked to re-articulate the dress code at the Knesset.
And what’s happening in other countries? At the British parliament for
instance (they’re) very strict, and stopped Parliament Member Caroline
Lucas in the middle of her speech because she wore a t-shirt, but in many
countries (they) say that a dress code is irrelevant. In Israel (they’re) now
re-thinking the rules.
