The Israeli Vulture
This is a story with a happy ending about a vulture that flies to Syria, but
returns to Israel alive. Four months ago the GPS on the vulture stopped
working, and no one knew where it was. A week ago, with the help of Gal
Luski who’s been helping people from Syria for six years, they found out
that a commander of a Syrian militia found the vulture and took care of it
until he was able to bring it back to Israel. No one in Israel thought that
they would see this vulture alive, but sometimes there are surprises, and
maybe even a message of peace from the Syrian side.
