Trip to IDF Museum
Welcome to IDF Museum!
In 1959 David Ben-Gurion wants to make a museum for the
history of the IDF. He says – (we) need to keep all of the weapons
that the IDF does not need. But only in 1991 (they) open the
museum.
In the museum, there are old IDF things from different time
periods [all of the years], and also things that the IDF uses today,
like the "Tavor" – a modern weapon, and also missiles from
wars.
The museum is a nostalgic place for many Israelis, and people
from all over the world also go there. You are probably happy to
know – for new immigrants the museum is free!
