Dear Reader
Whether you are a student, school leaver, a university
graduate, returning to work after a career break or keen to
change your career path, you no doubt would like to fi nd
the job of your dreams. In addition, I am here to tell you
that you can.
Now is the time and you can do everything in your power
to make this happen, with my tips and advice to help you?
First, you must decide what it is you would like to do.
What is your passion? What will make you spring out of
bed in the morning? Whether it’s caring for other people,
engineering ,serving delicious meals, serving indefence,
teaching teenagers or crunching numbers, there is a career
out that suits you and you need to work out what that is.
Doing a short spell of work experience or interning can
help you see what your chosen career is all about and
whether it’s something you really want to do. Shadowing
someone who already does the job will give you invaluable
insight.
Once you set your heart on something, there is no
stopping you. Just make sure your CV is watertight and
your interview preparation is extensive so you can win
them over on the day by giving the performance of your
life.
