The Museum
               Tasks

          The National Public Museum of Islamic Calligraphy was established
          with the aim of preserving the manuscript heritage and highlighting
          its archaeological value, in addition to:

        • The acquisition, stocktaking and digitization of tangible cultural

          properties.

        • Preserving the museum collection through regular maintenance

          and restoration.

        • Making museum collections accessible to the public using all

          means such as exhibitions, workshops and conferences.

        • Raising awareness among individuals and society of the

          importance of cultural heritage and the need to preserve it.

        • Studying museum collections and supervising related scientific

          research, as well as publishing research results to bring the
          museum institution closer to various strata of society.

        • Collaborations and partnerships with national and international

          bodies and institutions.
