Zoom Etiquette for Video Conference Calls

Dress:

• Business casual

• No hats
• Recommended solid color shirt/top or blazer but not same

color as the background or you blend in.

Audio Headpieces:

• Best practice to use Choice Plantronics provided earpiece.

• Recommended calling in through computer.

Video Camera and Optics:

• Best practice to use provided Logitech external camera.

• Should be connecting with video on all calls.

• Center yourself in the frame. Adjust camera or monitor so

it’s not all head or all body. Not to close or far away.

• Maintain eye contact. Looking at other screens, phones etc.
is distracting.

** For best audio/video results have VPN disabled.

Backgrounds:

• Mandatory to use provided corporate style virtual

background template. No personal backgrounds. Use brand

logo background, double check logo before call.
