WHAT IS A
DOUBLE COMMISION CLAIM?
Sellers are liable to pay commission to the estate agent
who was the effective cause of sale of their property.
A double commissions claim may arise if a buyer purchases
a property after having viewed it with another estate agent
previously.
If such a claim succeeds, the seller will have to pay commission to
both estate agents who introduced the property to the buyer.
