“Whenever you hear the rooster crow (at night), ask for gifts from
Allāh, indeed it has seen an angel. But when you hear a donkey bray
(at night), ask for Allāh’s protection from the disturbance of

“If you hear the howling of a dog and the braying of a donkey at
night then seek protection from Allāh from it because it has seen
