                       ‘Verily! Aṣ-Ṣafā and Al-Marwah (two mountains in Makkah) are of
                       the Symbols of Allāh… I begin with what Allāh began with’.



                              Then he began by climbing mount  Ṣafā, until he saw the

                       kafibah. Then facing the Qiblah, read the declarative sentence of
                       tauḥīd and takbīr, as well as reading:

                          ﻞﻛ  ﻰ    ٰ َ     ﻠﻋ    ﻮﻫو   ،ﺪﻤﳊا  ُ َ     ﻪَ ﻟو   ْ    ﻚْ ﻠﻤْ  ُ  ُ    ،ﻪَ ﻟ     ﻪَ ﻟ   ﻟا    ﻚﻳﺮﺷ  ﻻ       َ  ُ ْ  ُ َ  ٰ  ِ َ ِٰ  ﻻ     ﻟإ   ﻪ   ﻻإ     ّ ﻠﻟا   ﻪ     َ
                                                                               ﻩﺪﺣو
                       ﱢ ُ
                                                                               َ
                                        ُ
                                                    ُ
                                                                   َ َ
                                   ُ
                                          َْ
                                  َ َ
                                                        ُ
                                                                                         ِ

                                                                  ﻩﺪﺣو
                                         ﻩﺪﺒﻋ
                          باﺰﺣَ    ﻷا    مﺰﻫو   ُ َْ     ﺮﺼ َ َ     ﻧو   ﻩﺪﻋو     ﺰﳒأ   َْ ُ ْ  ُ َ  ٰ  ﱠِ َ ِٰ    ﻻ     ﻟإ   ﻪ     ﻻإ     ّ ﻠﻟا   ﻪ    ،ﺮﻳﺪﻗ     ءﻲﺷ
                                                                                          َ
                                                      َ
                                         َ
                                                                                                َ
                                                                 َ
                                                    ُ ْ
                                                           ََ

                                                                                       ٌ

                                                                                              ﻩﺪﺣو
                                                                                           .    ُ ْ َ
                                                                                             َ
                       ‘None has the right to be worshipped except Allāh, alone, without
                       partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over
                       all things omnipotent. None has the right to be worshipped except
                       Allāh alone. He fulfilled His promise, aided His servant and single-
                       handedly defeated the allies’.

                              Then, he  made dufiā√ between Ṣafā and Marwah. He read
                       it three times. Within that ḥadīth it is said that the Prophet  also
                       read it at Marwah in the same manner as he read at Ṣafā”.
