water—it is a must-have piece of software for any lawyer, law student, or

judge. BriefCatch’s recognition of the proper citation forms and legal terms

of art alone makes it worth the cost. Throw in its ability to recognize and

suggest changes to correct usage errors and punchiness suggestions that

keep readers from getting bogged down, and you’ve got a stellar product.

Other programs simply cannot do what BriefCatch does. They don’t

recognize legal terms of art, they don’t help the writer identify and correct

usage errors, and they don’t offer reports and scores that enable the writer

to assess the overall impact of the writing in terms of its conciseness,

crispness, and reader engagement.
