The song “Thrown Away” off their 2015 album “Take It Like a Man” was inspired by their five years on the road. Heidi
and Carla described, “feeling the love at the show, but missing our family and friends…it was a disconnect from real
life.”
Shepherd and Harvey Coates are excited about the way their 2017 album “Lilith” evolved, describing it as “a wide
variety of range of emotions and stories.” It’s clear that Heidi and Carla want their fans to utilize their music as a
source of inspiration.
Referring to their endless work on song lyrics, writing music, and changing up the shows, Carla said, “We do it for
the love of our fans.
As we concluded our interview, Heidi reflected, “It’s been a crazy 9 years, but we can’t wait to see what the next 9
years hold!”
