Being an Alumni of Pueblo High school myself, I came to enjoy the music and show support. I started taking
a few pictures and by the end of the performance, I realized I had enough great photos for another fantastic
ION Indie Magazine story. Mariachi Aztlán was on fire tonight! Song after song, they played with intensity
and with heart. Just about every musician sang at least one song. In all, they performed 15-20 songs. I lost
myself in the performance that I didn’t keep track of the set list but trust me on this -- the songs were all
great!

Sometime during the middle of the performance, the mothers of all the performers were brought up on
stage where they received a beautiful gift -- an on-stage performance from their sons and daughters. The
concert lasted a little under two hours. But those two hours were amazingly entertaining. I highly
recommend seeing a Mariachi concert for yourself. Goes great with tequila!
