CHRIS MORENO is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter and recording artist who has been
capturing the attention of audiences up and down the East Coast. His latest single "It Was You,"
available everywhere, has received over 100,000 streams on Spotify. Moreno’s previous single
"Try,” released in 2016, received airplay on over 100 radio stations nationwide. Moreno’s sound
is influenced by 80’s ballads and rock music of the 1990s to the 2000s. He mixes elements of a
modern country sound with both pop and rock, which can be clearly heard on his follow-up EP
“Into the Night,” which was released in May 2018. The record was recorded and produced in
Nashville by producer, Jonathan Roye, who has also produced country star Kelsea Ballerini.

Chris Moreno is one of the few artists who is quite comfortable playing at a variety of places,
whether it be a songwriter round in Nashville, TN, or such notable venues as Toby Keith’s Bar and
Grille in Foxboro, MA, The Bell in Hand in Boston, MA, or the Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo,
Michigan. The venues that Chris is performing at on this leg of his tour are as diverse as his sound
and the music he writes.

ION Indie Magazine caught up with Moreno before his show in Portsmouth, NH, as his fans
converged on The Goat, anxious to hear his much-anticipated performance. Whether it be cover
songs that Chris has modified or one of his originals, music lovers will come in droves to listen to
Moreno’s music…and will stay well into the night.
