American rock band New Years Day was
forged in Anaheim, CA, in 2005, and built a
solid following through social media
networking. In 2006, the band debuted with
a self-titled EP and followed with a full-
length album in 2007, titled “My Dear.”
“Victim to Villian” was released in 2013, and
in 2015, they followed with “Malevolence,”
which peaked at #45 on The Billboard 200.

The band announced its first headlining
tour, the "Other Side Tour,” in 2015. In
2016, the band embarked on “The
Retrograde Tour,” supporting Crown The
Empire and Blessthefall. They hit a career
milestone in 2017, performing at the
Alternative Press Music Awards with the
legendary Lzzy Hale, besides headlining the
Vans Warped Tour that same year. They also
completed a month-long festival run with
Halestorm with the “Halloween Scream
Tour.”

New Years Day recently appeared in support
of In This Moment with the "Witching Hour
Tour" alongside special guest P.O.D.

this summer at Maine State Pier in Portland,
ME.
