In 2011, the band announced their decision to go on a hiatus. The members pursued various solo
projects and other projects. During this period, Dallas Green focused on his acoustic project, City
and Colour.
However, in 2015, the band surprised fans by reuniting for a series of concerts and festival
performances. They released a new single titled “Familiar Drugs” in 2019, returning to the studio. In
2022, Alexisonfire released the album “Otherness” and embarked on a Canadian, North American,
and European tour.
As the final notes of the night echoed through the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts, the
energy in the air was as palpable as the humidity. Alexisonfire continues to inspire and create music
that resonates with generations of their fans, who continue to fill arenas and stadiums all over the
world, celebrating their music for years to come.
