But the night was only about to

begin! Sammy and crew hit the

stage and absolutely took us all on

a journey with a 21-song show. I

am not going to list all the songs,

but they covered Montrose,

Sammy’s solo days, Van Halen,

Chickenfoot, Satriani hits, and

much, much more.

The most amazing part of this

show was the energy. Sammy is

76 years old, but he doesn't look,

act, or sound like a day over 40.

The voice was exactly as it has

been for 50-something years.

Michael, Joe, and Jason all

displayed the same enthusiasm

and energy. Sammy has a way of

making us all feel like we are at a

beach just hanging out. The only

thing missing from the night was a

few beach balls for us to bounce

around and maybe a volleyball

net!
