"Heaven Or Hell" was originally going to be the title, but Freddie decided that "God Bless You" was more fitting.
With "Heaven Or Hell,” Freddie sings with urgency, basically saying that you’d better make the right decisions
or suffer the eternal consequences. Most Gospel songs talk about how wonderful Heaven must be, but in this
song, Freddie talks about what it may be like if we don't make good choices in our lives right now.

Freddie Hart only recorded a handful of Christmas songs in his career, so the inclusion of "At This Time Of Year"
is a welcome one. The song is a bit of a departure from the other Gospel-themed selections here as he talks
about putting up Christmas lights, buying presents, and sending cards to loved ones. I think that Freddie loved
the more human side of Christmas too, but never forgot its true meaning. This song, I feel, is his best writing of
the project. "Technicolor houses dressed up in Christmas lights, like a rainbow fell and scattered everywhere" is
pure poetry! It is so filled with nostalgia, beckoning to the days when we stopped to enjoy the holiday season
to its fullest. It gives me such a warm feeling and brings back memories of my childhood and family Christmas
        times.
