Alejandra Guzmán has been a music Spanish rock
icon in Mexico, Latin America, and the US since the
early 1990s. She has sold over 30 million albums
worldwide. Alejandra's parents are well-known
actress Silva Pinal and her father is
singer/performer Enrique Guzmán. Alejandra adds
songwriter, musician, and actress to her many
accomplishments, and she is one of the most well-
rounded Latina entertainers in show business.
Alejandra is also now a coach on Telemundo's
Spanish version of The Voice, La Voz.
The stage production was awesome. It reminded
me of a Donny and Marie concert in Las Vegas with
plenty of costume changes, fantastic lights and
smoke show, huge electronic back screen, and a
plethora of amazing musicians, dancers, and back-
up singers. Alejandra also showed us her
musicianship when she played her gold glitter
guitar. She made a joke in Spanish (as most of the
conversation was in Spanish), about that when she
plays the guitar it always ruins her manicure.
Alejandra has a very beautiful deep voice that can
best be compared to Siouxsie Sioux (Susan Janet
Ballion), Cher, and Annie Lennox.
Two hours later, and nobody wanted to go home.
It was a two-hour seduction by one of the world's
best international performers. The show was both
dazzling and entertaining. I really enjoyed myself.
