Before I get into Josh, let me start with Ashley Wineland first. It was a pleasure seeing Ashley

perform on the same stage as Josh, and it bears mentioning that Ashley is currently on her
second national tour, “Simple Life,” in support of her album and recently released single by the
same name. Even though I had worked with Ashley and her team several times in the recent

past, this was the first time I’ve seen her perform. I arrived a bit early and I was fortunate to
hang out with Ashley and “Team Wineland” back stage. Ashley and her band seemed very
relaxed and at times this led to some harmless goofing around and friendly, teasing banter.
Ashley’s Arizona-based band is comprised of Nick Sanderson/drums, George Gonzalez/guitars,

Kevin Bowers/bass, and Johnny Candler/steel guitar. Wineland additionally has a national
touring band comprised of mostly Nashville-based musicians, which also includes Sanderson,
her long-time drummer/back-up vocalist. Tonight, Ashley showed her Arizona fans what she’s

all about, displaying a distinctive stage presence and palpable electricity that stood out and left
a lasting impression! The music was energetic and infectious and the band, tight.

Ashley and her band…let me say this…they did not disappoint! On stage, Ashley performed with
a confidence and poise that can only be carried off by a true entertainer. Interacting with the
fans who were singing along, Ashley exhibits a unique and original stage presence, all her own.

She performed her single “No Prince Charming” and the title track from her latest album “Simple
Life” – along with songs from her debut album “Family Business.” It is obvious that Ashley is well
on her way to the top – and the appreciative audience seemed in agreement, as evidenced by
the long line of fans eager to get a photo and an autograph following her performance.
