STAYNE THEE ANGEL is a 5-piece band from

Jacksonville, Florida, an area that has
produced some of the greatest bands that the
music world has known. The past 15 years or
so, the music industry has changed, and
taking a band to the superstar level is a whole
new ball game.
Recently I had a chance to chat with Justin
Watson, guitarist for Stayne Thee Angel, and
discuss the band’s recent return to the local
music scene, their debut EP, sophomore CD,
and videos.
Bruce Lenzi: Hey Justin, great to reconnect
with you! It's been awhile. Last I had heard,
the band had split up, and then recently, I
saw a new lyric video from the band on
YouTube.
Justin Watson: The first hiatus Darren (lead
vocals, lyricist) took was actually before we
released our debut album “Change,” so we
were going to try to keep going with me on
vocals and adding another guitarist, but that
never really worked out, and Darren decided
to come back. So, we were back as a band and
worked on our debut album.
