Common multiples are multiples of two or more numbers
EX : Find the common multiples and L.C.M of 4 and 6
Frist way ( listing method)
Multiples of 4 are : 0 , 4 ,8 , 12 ,16 , 20 , 24 , 28, ……..
Multiples of 6 are : 0 , 6 , 12 , 18 , 24 , 30 ,………….
common multiples of 4 and 6 ( other than 0) are: 12 , 24
L.C.M = 12
Second way ( prime factorization ) 6
