I stopped taking “Aquasil®”.

Several years later, in 1997, I was

admitted to Monash Hospital in Clayton for

            a “Right Knee Total replacement”.

            However, during surgery, I became

            infected with “Golden Staph infection”

which seriously jeopardised my long term

            health.

I was supplied with Antibiotics to combat

this “Golden Staph” but over the next few

            years, my health progressively

            deteriorated.

The Golden Staph kept evolving and

because I have a lot of metal and plastic

            holding my body together.

                                       Also a Pacemaker,

                          (I tell people I am a “Cyborg”)

(Part machine, Part Computer, and Little

                                               bit Human.)

            Unfortunately, all these prosthetic

implants, allow the “Golden Staph” to hide

away from the antibiotics as there is little

blood flow to carry the “goodies” into their

            “Nest inside the Prosthetic Site”.
