symptoms.
To reduce the expense of ginseng products in the marketplace, however, some notoginseng leaf and
flower extracts or extracts of other Asian ginseng are designated and sold as notoginseng extract in
China.
Because different ginseng saponins may possess opposing pharmacological activities, knowing the real
content of saponins and their proportions is vital for the safe use of notoginseng extract.
If notoginseng extract is adulterated, its therapeutic effects are not achieved. Moreover, adulteration may
cause an adverse or opposite effect
