 Sophistication is the deliberate addition of

inferiormaterial with intenttodefraud ;such
materials are carefully produced and may
appearatfirstsighttobegenuine.

 e.g. Powderginger maybedilutedwith starch
withadditionoflittlecoloringmaterialtogive
thecorrectshadeofyellowcolor.

 e.g. Adulteration of beeswax with yellow
colored paraffinwax .
