Calibration of the eye piece micrometer
• Using low power
• 6 large divisions of E.P. = 0.9 mm S.M.
• 60 small divisions of E.P. = 0.9 mm S.M.
• = 900µ
• So, each small division of E.P.= 900/60 =
15µ
• Using high power
• 34 small divisions of E.P. = 0.1mm S.M.
• = 100µ
