         Precision – Accuracy

Accuracy is the degree of "trueness" or the closeness of the
analytical result to the "true" value.

The closer a system's measurements to the accepted value, the
more accurate the system is considered to be.

Ex The test result may be a mean of several values. An
accurate determination produces a "true" quantitative
                 value.

         Precision – Accuracy

Precision is the degree of reproducibility or the closeness of
the results of replicate analyses of the same sample.

It is a measure of dispersion or scattering around the mean
value and usually expressed in terms of standard deviation
or a range (difference between the highest and the lowest
                 result).

The measurements could be precise, though not necessarily
             accurate.
