C. Transdeamination in the liver

Combine action of an aminotransferase and glutamate
dehydrogenase. So, it is a combination processes of
transamination and oxidative deamination referred to as
transdeamination
The amino groups from many of the α -amino acids are
collected in the liver in the form of the amino group of L-
glutamate molecules
Glutamate undergoes oxidative deamination catalysed by L-

  glutamate dehydrogenase to form ammonia NH3.
