In Ghagga, we had neighbors who were not kind. Biji
was scared that they may harm Kaka Ji. She forbade
him to go to their home. Kaka went anyways. When he
returned, Biji was worried and upset. She started
giving him a spanking. I wrapped myself around him to
save him from the blows.
In Chanchoray, we shared a wall with a neighbor. The
wall also had a window. The neighbor peeked through
the window and teased me one day that s he will take
my baby brother Kaka with her. I panicked. I was
wearing a new frock. I begged her to take my new
frock but leave my brother with me. Lots of love, Kaka
