Review Lesson 5 Kanna Bindi Words

Kanna & Bindi Muhaarni: In Punjabi, the nasal sound is added by using a Tippi on top of

the letters or Bindi, a little dot on a Matra. Both Tippi and Bindi make the same sound,

but they are used with different Matras. Tippi is used with Mukta, Sihaari, Onkad, and

Dulenkad words, but Bindi is used with Bihaari, laavaan, Dulaavan, hoda and knauda.

Bindi Muhaarni will work in this way with Kanna. Say the sounds, Aan, Saan, Haan etc.)
