Reading
There are 9 matra symbols, a Bindi and a Tippi in
Gurmukhi. When we write a letter with a matra
symbol, we call them syllables (parts of words).
Learning to read syllables fast will help you read
words fast. Your goal should be to read these
syllbles effortlessly and fast in one go, without
having to repeat any sound. Practice reading
these syllables everyday.
If you practice reading/learning these syllables
of one Matra each day, then within 10 days, you
will be able to read any word in Punjabi.
